Compose pakub pealesurumiseks ka kahte tüüpi andmevormingut, pdf ja 1-bitine tiff. PDF-fail oli omal ajal veel üleminekul, 1-bitine tiff-vorming oli see, mida Printer sel ajal kõige rohkem usaldas, kuna nad saavad eelnevalt 1-bitise tiff-vorminguga lehti korrektuure lugeda.
